"Powder Keg Bowl - Stylized"

This imaged started out as our 2007 Christmas card. It was so popular with our friends, some asked if I could make them a large print they could frame.

It started with a photo I took at Whitewater Ski resort in British Columbia. I then applied some special computer effects to distort and change its appearance, made some clouds and borrowed an eagle from the Snoqualmie High Country series. The result is a very graphic, stylized image that looks similar to a serigraph.
