Ron's Biography

Ron Bomba grew up in New York City. After graduating art school, he served three years in the military before starting a career in graphic arts. His specialties included product design, illustration and photography.

An avid outdoorsman, Ron spent most of his free time skiing, mountain climbing, sailing and scuba diving - activities not easily pursued in the big city. After a yearlong search, Ron settled in Seattle, Washington, a vibrant city with close-by mountains and beautiful clear waters. Here was a ready market for his art and design talents plus great skiing and scuba diving nearby.

Before leaving the East Coast, Ron frequented the beautiful coral reefs in the Florida Keys. It was there that he became familiar with the spectacular marine life native to the area and throughout the Caribbean. Other diving adventures include the Virgin Islands, Honduras, Hawaii, and the clear cold waters of the Pacific Northwest.

Ron has now retired from commercial work and is focused on fine art paintings and prints of nature and the marine life he knows so well.
