Limited and Open Editions

A limited edition is the total number of prints that will be produced in a given size. Open editions do not have a limit.

Some of our limited edition images are available in more than one size. Each size has its own edition limit. Larger sizes generally cost more and have a low edition number. Smaller versions have larger editions and are more affordable.

In addition to the limited edition prints, there are usually a small number of "artist proof" prints that are retained by the artist for their own collection. They will include an "A/P" along with the signature.

Our gallery also includes some "Open Edition" prints. These are not offered as limited editions because they have already been reproduced elsewhere. Some were created as licensed stock images and others are derived from Ron's commercial illustrations. All of our open edition prints are signed and made in our studio with the same materials and care as the limited editions.
